Before you commit to a project, know what you actually need

Odoo consultancy is the conversation before the contract — process review, module fit, licence sizing, and a straight answer on whether Odoo is right for how you work. No obligation to move forward with us afterward.

—= Who this is for =—

New to Odoo

Evaluating Odoo for the first time and need an honest read on whether it fits your business, not a sales pitch

Scoping a project already

Already scoping a project and want a second opinion before signing with anyone

Not sure which edition

Unsure whether you need Community or Enterprise, or how many users and modules you actually require

Weighing vendors

Stuck between vendors and want someone who isn't selling you a specific outcome to help you decide

Where consultancy ends

Consultancy is advisory — we review your processes, assess what Odoo can and can't do for you, and help you size the right edition, module list and budget.

It's the thinking that happens before anything is built.

And implementation begins

Implementation is the delivery project that follows — configuring Odoo, migrating data, training your team, going live.

You don't have to hire us for implementation to get value from consultancy.

Some businesses come to us specifically for an independent read before signing with another partner, or before deciding whether Odoo is the right tool at all. That's a legitimate, standalone engagement.

Implementation

 —= What a consultancy engagement covers =—

Fit-gap assessment

What standard Odoo covers out of the box, what would need configuration or development.

Recommendation

A written recommendation you can act on with us or take elsewhere.

Process review

How your business actually runs today, department by departments.

Community vs Enterprise

A straight recommendation based on your modules, user count, and support needs, not a default answer

—= What we bring to this conversation =—

Technical depth

We're not reading from a sales deck, we implement, customize, and host Odoo ourselves, so the advice reflects what actually happens after go-live, not just what looks good in a demo.

Functional breadth

Accounting, inventory, sales, HR and payroll, a recommendation that only accounts for one department isn't a real recommendation.

A straight answer

Even when it's "not us." If your business doesn't fit Odoo well, or fits better with a smaller scope than you came in expecting, we'll say so. That costs us a sale sometimes. It's also the only way this advice is worth anything.

 —= How a consultancy engagement runs =—

STEP A

A first conversation
No obligation, no pitch — we listen to what's not working today and what you're hoping Odoo solves.

STEP B

Process review
We look at how your departments actually operate, not how the org chart says they should.

STEP C

Written recommendation
Module list, Community vs Enterprise, realistic budget range, and an honest note on risk areas — yours to keep, whoever you choose to work with next.

STEP D

Your call
Move forward with us into implementation, take the recommendation to another partner, or hold off. All three are fine outcomes.

 —= FAQ =—

Do I have to commit to implementation to get a consultancy engagement?

No.

Some clients come to us specifically for an independent assessment before deciding on a partner, or before deciding whether Odoo is right for them at all.

A quote assumes you already know what you need.

Consultancy is the step before that — figuring out what you actually need, so the quote that follows is accurate instead of a guess.

 The first conversation is free.

A full process review and written recommendation is scoped and quoted separately, depending on the size of your business.

Yes.

A second opinion before signing a contract is one of the more common reasons businesses come to us for consultancy specifically.

A single-entity business can usually get a full recommendation within a week or two.

More departments or locations take longer, since the process review is where the real work happens.
